We want to thank the Kicks for Kids program, for donating tickets to our organization. We hung out with the LA Galaxy mascot before the game. We laughed, we cheered and we watched the LA Galaxy win 1-0.

Visiting Mr. Kurl

Mr. Kurl is a Blazer tutor. He has been helping children for many years. Unfortunately, he is not here with us at the center because he is at home taking a vacation. We are very anxious for his return!

Surf Camp

Summer is here and the Blazers is at Zuma Beach learning how to surf with the Childrens Life Saving Foundation. Here on the left are all the surfers after recieving lessons and learning the safety rules of being in the water.

Agape Sacred Service

This is Michael and Barbara from the Agape Sacred Service. A group of twenty-five came on Saturday to help us make Blazers shine and stand out. We loved their sense of humor and their kindness and thank them for all their hard work.

LA Artcore Photography Workshop

Photographer Anita Bunn taught the Blazer students to take self portraits using a Polaroid Instamatic Cameras. Using their photos, students were able to express their creativity on poster boards using oil pastels, colored paper, and magazines.
