DODGER STADIUM

Our youth also got a chance to go to Dodger Stadium. They had a great time even thougth it was a late game and it was cold. The Dodgers played against the Angels. We had nachos, hot dogs, sodas and hot chocolate. We were sad because the Dodgers lost but it was a great game anyway.

Blazer's Breakfast

Blazer's had a great breakfast on March which has been one of our busiest months so far. We had great healthy food and snacks. Everybody was happy. We had a great honor having Mike Wilson #85 from the San Francisco 49ers at our breakfast.

BLUES FOR CENTRAL AVENUE

The Blazer's youth had a night out to the theater to watch the play "Blues for Central Ave" on March 6. The youth enjoyed the music and educational story about Central Ave. I was the only parent there because they only allowed one. It was a very interesting story.

Blazer Family Dinner

All Blazer's parents with students enrolled at the center went to May's Cantonese Restaurant and the veggie chow-mein was..... the bomb! It was so delicious that I took some home. This gathering was part of Blazers efforts to empower our parents to recognize common issues and share responsibilities individually and collectively.
